If you saw the latest insider video from Bioware, you might have caught your eye on the new appearance design kiosk and armor dyes they are adding to the game. This will be available in patch 2.1, titled Customization. 6p6v41
If you’ve been wanting more appearance design kiosk will give you the chance to change your hairstyle, hair color, eye color, scars and tattoos and even your species. If you’re character needs a makeover, the time is now!
It will pay full price for a makeover if you’re only changing one thing, like your hair color.
Already there are complaints in the community about this costing game and getting something you want while you’re at it.
Then there are also work with the current item enhancement and modding system.
Basically this means that to use them, you open the item modification menu for the gear you want to apply the dye to. They are consumable so you can only use them once. And that’s pretty much it- they’re pretty simple. Many items will be dyable but of course there are some restrictions. Items under L15 cannot be dyed and green items not from crafting usually cannot be dyed either.
All in all, it’s a pretty good addition to the game and we look forward to these customization options. What about you?
