Notifications were zooming in to me from friends, family, Tweeters and more that they have all received notifications for SWTOR beta weekend THIS weekend. No one seemed to know what was going on. Was it real? Was it another mistake? 48572x

Then SWTOR/BioWare posted this on their news page:
When we started our Star Wars™: The Old Republic™.
How can you take part in this coming Game Testing Program prior to today, November 11th, will get invited! Invites will be sent in the coming weeks.
For people who haven’t signed up for our Game Testing Program, you can also get into the Beta Stress Test Weekend through a series of promotions.
Those who have not signed up for beta testing previously will still have a chance to get their own codes. IGN’s website was completely lagged up earlier with people trying to figure out what was going on.
